Barbwire Flames Back Window Graphic:
Seen from the outside - but not from the inside! Our rear window graphics feature a micro-perforated vinyl which has approximately 50% holes and 50% material. Lighting is what makes this whole thing work. The reflection of light off the image/images provides the illusion of one solid image on the outside. But on the inside, the black adhesive side absorbs the light so that the material is easily seen through. View All Sizes - We have one that will work for you! Any of our designs are available in 5 different sizes. Our 22" x 66" or 20" x 65", fits most standard full size pickup trucks, most Avalanche's are 53" x 14", also a 58" x 18" size for most small-medium pickup trucks, as well as a 29" x 66" size for most SUV's. Keep in mind that the image can be trimmed to fit, so if one of these sizes are a few inches off, it still should fit just fine. Plus, the images are designed so that trimming off the edges will not affect the general feel of the design. Custom artwork and other sizes available upon request. We use only the Best of the Best, These graphics are printed using only the highest quality perforated vinyls and U.V. resistant inks used to produce graphics with eye-catching colors and clarity. Installation is simple & straight forward! Installing a rear window graphic is a pretty simple process. The perforations in the vinyl prevent the film from getting bubbles in it.; making the installation easy as 1-2-3.
1. Align the image
2. Squeegee it in place
3. Trim to fit!
How do these graphics allow you to see through them?
These graphics are printed on a mechanically perforated vinyl material. The material is 50% material and 50% holes. The human eye picks up light reflected from objects. This material capitalizes on this fact. From outside your eyes see the light reflected off the colorful, high resolution graphics, blending the holes so it looks like a solid image. The adhesive side, which faces inside is black. When you look out from the inside of the vehicle, your eyes see the light reflected from objects outside e.g. cars, scenery etc. and blend in the black. Very cool stuff!
Will snow scrapers damaged my rear window graphic?
Snow scrapers can damage or destroy your rear window graphic.
Can these be installed with a rear wiper?
It is best to avoid the use of wiper blades and snow scrapers. Rear window mounted wiper blades can cause premature wear to your rear window graphic. We recommend removing the rear wipers. Store them in a safe place to add back to your SUV, Minivan etc. before trading in or selling. This will help prevent your blade from wearing out and damaging the perforated film.
Will the image be damaged by window tint or defrosters?
No! These graphics apply to the outside of the window and will not effect, or be effected by window tints or factory window defrosters.
Are they installed on the inside or outside of the window?
All see-through window graphics are applied to the outside of the window surface.
Will my vision be obstructed by rainfall, snowfall, car washes, etc?
No! We Laminate our graphics with a Optically clear UV Lamination. This way condensation, rainfall, snowfall and car washes can not fill the small perforations of the rear window graphic and cause reduced vision.
Can I take my vehicle through a car wash with my rear window graphic?
Try to avoid all power car washes during the week following installation. However, after that period it is safe to take through car washes. As a general rule, treat the image as you would the painted surface of your car.
Are rear window graphics easy to install and remove?
Installation: Rear window graphics are easy to install and remove yourself! A qualified installer can install one in minutes. For first time purchasers of our product, we recommend that you consult our installation page for details on how to optimally install your graphic. Removal: Rear window graphics can be removed by using a thin scraping device. It is best to start from one corner and lift up a small section. Once a small section is lifted, you can normally use hand force to pull the rear window graphic from the glass. If any adhesive residue remains, clean with a quality commercial glass cleaner or citrus-based adhesive remover/cleaner.
Can I use Rain-X or similar products with my rear window graphic?
Yes, You can. It will not damage or hart the graphic. The U.V Lamination will protect your beautiful graphic for years to come.
Prior to installation, my new graphic appears somewhat dull. The colors are not that bright and vivid. Will this change after I install it?
Yes, once the peel away layer has been removed, the colors will increase in brightness and clarity.
